Princess Peach and
Bowser Costume

Need to find a creative way to dress your little one up for Halloween when they can’t quite walk yet? Look no more! Baby Princess Peach stole the show all night, in the comfort of her baby carrier.

Crown and Peach Logo:

Crown and Peach Car Logo:  We used craft foam sheets cut into triangles and hot glued onto yellow baby headband. Fake diamond rhinestones glued onto foam triangles.

Princess Peach Kart:

Peach Kart: We used our (very little) art skills and drew a Princess Peach Kart in pencil on an old Target cardboard box. We then cut out the car and then painted the entire car with white paint. This was to allow the other colors: black, pink, and silver to be more prominent. To connect the front and back portion of the car, we cut out a long section out of a cardboard box (width = 3 inches, length = 12 inches), bent it lengthwise down the middle and used a hot glue gun to attach one portion to the side of the car and the other portion to the front (and/or back) which connected the two together.

Exhaust Pipe: Three styrofoam tubes (from Joanns) were cut and painted silver to create the exhaust pipe.

Steering Wheel: We painted a flat styrofoam circle black for the steering wheel and used plastic rhinestones to decorate and give the wheel a nice princess touch.

Shoulder Straps: To strap the Kart on to the person wearing it, pink ribbon was connected to the sides of the Kart to hang over shoulders.

Costume:

Baby Princess Peach Costume: Super simple baby outfit. Pink dress and white pants. We cut a pink sheet to cover the gray carrier in front of the baby. Of course we have our handmade princess crown and finished off the outfit with pink slip on shoes.

Not shown in photos: We used white ruffle baby socks as gloves.

Bowser:

Bowser shell: Purchased turtle shell from pop up Halloween store and painted the rim white. Used cardboard birthday hats for spikes by painting white and used hot glue to attach to shell.

Clothes: Purchased plain yellow sweater and attached (opened) punk rock stud bracelets with hot glue around arms. Purchased plain green sweat pants.

Accessories: Punk rock stud bracelets

Mask: Purchased Bowser mask at pop up Halloween store.

Not shown in photos: We used white ruffle baby socks as gloves.

Conclusion:

As I mentioned before, this outfit was a hit while trick or treating! So good luck and be prepared to get handfuls of candy at each house. Please feel free to leave comments or ask any questions below!
