Bachelorette Party - Out of Town

Planning a bachelorette party can be stressful…ESPECIALLY if it happens to be a multi-day trip that is located out of town! Decorations, matching outfits, games, etc. How in the world will you transport everything? How will you stay organized? We have quite a few cute ideas to help ease that stress.

Shirts:

Shirts:

The Bride-to-Be wanted to channel the Arizona desert for her bachelorette party colors. So, we choose a traditional white t-shirt for the “Wife” of the party and tan for the rest. There were 12 women altogether, so we collected everyone’s shirt sizes and shopped around for the cutest and cheapest shirts. It just so happened that Forever 21 was having a “buy 2, get 1 free” sale, with each shirt costing $3.99. It was definitely a no brainer! We ordered online and they were delivered in 2 days.

We immediately went to work. To decorate the shirts, we used (and slightly tweaked) a cute template in Cricut Design Space. We then used our handy Cricut Maker to cut out the designs onto Iron-on Vinyl and utilized a Cricut Easy Press 2 (9×9) to heat press the vinyl onto the t-shirts. They turned out beautiful!

Slim Koozies:

Slim Koozies:

As you all know…hard seltzers are all the rage right now. So we thought it might be cute to make a custom slim can koozie for everyone to have on the trip. The koozies came in a pack of 14 on Amazon, which was perfect for our group of 12. We used the same font and same iron-on vinyl for the koozies as we did on the shirts. The material is a lot different than a t-shirt, so make sure to follow the directions for the type of material your koozies are, since you will be using a heat press on them. You do not want to burn/melt your koozies!

Bride-to Be Jean Jacket:

Equipment used:  Cricut Maker to cut out the designs onto Iron-on Vinyl and utilized a Cricut Easy Press 2 (9×9) to heat press onto jean jacket. As you can below, the jacket complimented the outfit of the night very well.

Decorations:

All of the previously mentioned items were made before making the trip to Scottsdale, Arizona. So this obviously added on to the load of other items we were bringing for the weekend. We couldn’t skip on showering the beautiful Bachelorette with decorations, so we had to be creative with cute-but-compact decor.

THANK YOU Amazon – Bachelorette Party Decorations at your service.

See below for a few recommendations that we have personally used.

Decor Kit – This kit from Amazon was perfect and has absolutely everything you could need (see pic above). The quality is also surprisingly AMAZING. The rose gold tiara is made of a strong, durable metal. Only tip I have for this kit and ANY kit is to make sure you bring a mini steam iron for the sash because the creases from the folds are very significant.

Fun Suggestion (for Scottsdale, Az.):

Arizona Party Bike – Drinks, music, and a lot of laughs. The Arizona Party Bike is a fun/safe way to drink on the go. The bike is equipped with a great sound system, LED party lights and the alcoholic beverages of your choice. Yes, you do pedal to get the bike going, but the “electric helper motor” does the majority of the work and a member of the staff does the driving. The matching shirts were perfect for the outing on the party bike. All the people passing by were honking and cheering for the Bride-to Be! Hard Seltzers were an option for drinks to purchase, so the koozies definitely got their use as well!

Canva:

Canva – Canva is such a great tool for so many things. What we utilized it for on this trip was to create an itinerary. As mentioned before, going out of town for a weekend party can be stressful…for EVERYONE. No one wants to be late or unprepared. So creating an itinerary and sending it in advance helped everyone know what to pack, when to be there and what to prepare for. A lot of brides desire their group to dress similar or to have a certain theme, so this was a good opportunity to share that information with everyone as well.

Extras:

Extras – Here are a few extra suggestions if there is a pool where you are staying.

Drink Floaties – 22 pack of individual floaties for drinks with pump and waterproof pouch.

Side note: We do not recommend using waterproof pouch, as they do not always work.

In Conclusion:

Have a discussion and figure out the Bride’s vision. Make it come to life with custom made shirts, bags, cups, koozies, etc. There is nothing more meaningful than taking the time to create personalized items, and lets face it……its a lot cheaper too. To top it off, you know that you have it done right and it’s ready to go on time. If you don’t have the tools to do it yourself, check out ETSY and there are plenty of small business owners that would love your business! Just be sure to order in advance, in case something is damaged, spelled incorrectly and/or missing. Don’t worry about going over the top! Your Bride is going to appreciate everything you have done and will be happy to just have everyone in one place to celebrate before the big day! Please reach out if you have any questions or suggestions. We welcome new ideas!
